Joe Kelley w/ Monty Mitchell

From Flint, Michigan, Joe Kelley began his career in entertainment by embarking on a path of radio broadcasting. After years of broadcasting, he sold all his worldly possessions then moved to Maui to focus on his true passion… psychoactive compounds found in plants. This led to a great awakening that resulted in Joe moving to Nashville to begin performing stand-up comedy in 2012.  

Joe quickly became a regular at Zanies, and participated in The Broken Record Show (an 8-day Guinness World Record breaking show) in 2015 and 2016. He then bought a gold minivan, named it “Goldie” and, to no one’s surprise, began living in that van. He would spend 3 years living the van-life, traveling all over the country performing at comedy clubs, music venues, bars, coffee shops, and even a bowling alley or two.   

In 2018, Joe moved out of his van and to Atlanta where he was a part of The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, and Red Clay Comedy Festival. He has since been on Bravo TV, and recorded his debut comedy album set for release in late 2021.  Joe’s charm, matched with his delivery of dirty jokes makes him loved and adored by audiences everywhere. His unique style has allowed him to work with a variety of comedians such as Tom Segura, Dulcé Sloan, Big Jay Oakerson, Iliza Shelsinger, Ron Funches, Mark Normand, Josh Blue, Clayton English, and many others. Featuring Monty Mitchell - When Monty takes those long lanky steps toward the stage, you soon discover that story-teller is very different. He takes your audience through a varied routine pushing them toward disbelief, shock, and appreciation for his comedic talents....all the while they are laughing hysterically at his stories. Monty can take stories ranging from a funeral visit, to a fast food drive-through experience, to a police officer's traffic stop and make them stories you will never ever forget. By the time you get to the end of his show, you've heard (maybe more than you planned to) about his life, his family, his cat, and his latest trip to the low-rent strip bar.

Doors open at 7pm. Showtime is 8 pm.
